General Information

Parents seeking admission for their ward to Vidyaniketan CBSE School must note down the following information & do the needful as per the following:

Classes for Admission

Admissions are available for Nursery, KG I & Kg II as well Grade I to Grade XII.

Registration Process

  1. Parents must fill the Registration Form along with the Registration Fee at the Registration.
  2. Parents will be informed about the Date & Time for Final Admission, subject to the availability of seat in the Class registered for.
  3. Kindly note that the Registration Fee is Non-Refundable.

 

Age Criteria for Admission

Age Criteria for Pre-Primary and Grade I (Session 2026-27)

As per the Maharashtra Government Gazette, for Admission in Nursery, the child must have completed 3 years by 31st December 2026, and a student seeking admission to Grade I, must have completed 6 years of age on or before 31st December 2026.

 

Documents Required at the Time of Registration

The following documents must be submitted along with the Registration Fee at the Administrative Office:

  • Duly filled and signed Registration Form
  • Latest coloured passport-size photograph of the student
  • Photograph of the child with both parents (Size: 5cm × 3.5cm)
  • Attested photocopy of the Birth Certificate
  • Medical Certificate of the student (Original + Photocopy)
  • Attested photocopy of the previous class result/report card

Note: Incomplete or illegible registration forms without the required photographs will not be accepted.

Admission Procedure & Regulations

  1. Selected candidates, along with both parents, should be present for an interaction on a specified date and time.
  2. Admission will be confirmed only after the successful completion of the interaction as well as submission of all Original Documents and Fee.
  3. Mid-term admissions are considered only for meritorious students on grounds of transfer or change of school.
  4. The school reserves the right to admit a student in the appropriate class after proper assessment.
  5. Even after admission is granted, the school may adjust the student to a lower or higher class, depending on the student’s academic ability and at the discretion of the school authorities.
  6. Admission is strictly subject to fulfillment of all conditions and submission of all requisite documents.
  7. The Transfer Certificate (TC) from the previous school, if applicable, must be submitted within 15 days of the commencement of the academic session.
  8. For outstation students, the Transfer Certificate must be countersigned by the District Education Officer (DEO).
